Cutter Tryke Cable Lock
My lock is bigger than your lock.
Cutter Tryke Cable Lock:
So you might not actually own an urban assault tricycle, but if you did you know you’d wanna lock that beast up with Cutter’s Tryke Cable Lock. This thicker-than-a-retriever-tail cable lock wilts the hearts of thieves just like your heart wilted when you didn’t score that sick big wheel on X-mas morning back in ’87. Sling the Tryke over your shoulder and leave the bag at home. Cutter included two keys so you have options when it’s time to unlock.

Impressed by the weight and thickness. As far as the key problem, well certain security locks require that you have to turn the key to close it, so this is not really a problem. What is the problem is the choice I must make when I lock the bike up, which tire to secure. It needs to be another foot and a half longer in order to go through both wheels. So frame and back wheel or frame and front wheel. Other option is to buy two of these... hey wait a sec, thats what you wanted all along!

This is a good and durable lock, I just wish it was about 6" longer and that the key didn't turn so easy. It can be hard to close the lock because the key turns easily.
Very usable

This is a beefy cable lock and it's a good length. My only issue is with the key turning in the lock while I lock up. When I go to put the latch end back into the lock, I usually have to turn the key again to get it to go.
good lock

This a way heavy duty lock, I feel like my bikes are safe with it. The only thing I don't like is I've had a little trouble with the key turning in it. Other than that I really like it.
short & stout!

This lock is massive. I got one as part of the Cutter Commuter package on bonktown. Some reviewers there claim that it's too short to lock up both wheels, but that's just nonsense. If you're worried about wheel theft (presumably because you use QR skewers), all you have to do is remove your front wheel and place it next to the rear - then run the lock through the frame and both wheels, then around the rack or whatever you're locking too. Not very difficult at all, really. The only time any additional length would be beneficial is if you're trying to lock two or more bikes at the same time or if you need to lock it around a big tree or something. For one bike, on a rack, meter, sign or lightpost? This thing is burly and perfect. If it were any longer, it would just be (unnecessarily) heavier to carry around. Good lock, great price!
